Apparently, Addison's BFF is her Aunt Lou Lou! These two don't get to see each other all that much with Lauren living in Auburn, but when they are together they are so cute! Lauren is a wonderful aunt and just raves about Addison. Likewise, Addison loves to hang out with her Aunt Lou Lou.
This past weekend at the marriage conference Friday night, Lauren was talking about how she couldn't wait to see Addison at dinner Saturday night. She was talking about how much she missed her and how much fun she is. Then, she said, "Yeah, when Addison gets older she's gonna say 'Aunt Lou Lou is my BFF!' ". I told her she was probably right and left it at that. When Kevin and I got home Friday night, mom told me that she took Addison shopping while we were at the conference and Addison took it upon herself to place some things in the shopping cart. One of those things just happened to be a shirt that says, "My Aunt is my BFF". How funny is that? Mom bought that shirt on the same night that Lauren was talking about how her and Addison were BFF.
So.....I told mom she absolutely had to dress Addison in that shirt for dinner Saturday night when they met us after the conference. Lauren just loved the shirt! They are so cute together and I love that my sister is so close to my daughter! I hope they do become BFF in the future, because it would mean the world to me for Addison to have such a great role model to hang around all the time!
Their relationship was truly "love at first sight". It was too funny! When Addison was first born and still in the hospital, Lauren just kept saying, "I just love her soooo much!!!!"
