Then, a week and a half after we moved (on May 23rd), Addison decided she didn't want to take a nap at Aunt Vicki's and climbed out of her crib. Long story short, her right elbow was swollen and she still wouldn't move it 5 hrs later, so we took her to Children's ER. She has a "fractured distal humerus" and had to get a long arm cast on her right arm. I think it was worse for mom and dad than it was for her! She moves that thing around with ease and will knock you out if you aren't watching! It was kinda pitiful though, because that was the week before Memorial Day and I didn't think to ask for a waterproof cast. We had planned to go to Gadsden to see Kevin's family, and that wasn't very fun not being able to let her swim with the other kiddos.
We had to go back 1 week after the cast was put on, and they had to take the cast off, re-xray it, and make sure it was healing. The MD said that if it got worse in that first week, they would have to do surgery. The xrays looked good, so they recasted it and we now have a waterproof cast which makes things much easier on Mommy! =) The MD wanted her to wear it for 4 weeks total, and that would be until Wednesday, June 22nd. I asked him if we could get it off Monday (2 days early) before we leave to go to the beach and he agreed. He asked if we minded going to Children's South and I told him, "Of course not!". So, we'll make a pit stop at CS and leave the cast there and head to the beach!! So thankful we don't have to worry about that ole' stinky thing on our vacation. Even though it's waterproof, Addison would not be able to play in the sand with it.
Last weekend (June 4th) we attended the wedding of one of my sister's high school friends. My sister was in the wedding and it was beautiful.
On June 6th, I had the AWESOME opportunity to start a new phase of my life as a "part time nurse/stay at home mommy"! I now work 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday.....best schedule EVER!) and get to spend Mondays and Fridays hanging out with my sweet baby girl!!! It has been wonderful! I get to spend one-on-one time with her, and also get dishes and laundry done too! That way we have more free time with Daddy on the weekends, b/c the household chores are taken care of! Our first day together, we had play time in the little pool Kevin bought for Addison. She loved it and it made me smile! =)

This past Saturday (June 11th) was my mom's birthday and my good friend from high school got married! I was in the wedding, so it consumed Friday night, and all day Saturday. But it was an absolutely beautiful wedding, with a gorgeous bride, and an awesome reception! They had an old school photo booth at the reception and this is 1 of 4 goofy pictures my husband and I took in the booth.
This is the HILARIOUS bride and groom! They were red faced from laughing and sweating to death! The wedding was very cute and they are a perfect match for each other! I almost fell out on stage when they walked up to the preacher and Alan used the preacher's robe to wipe the sweat of his face! Then at the end before he kissed his bride, he pulled out "fresh breath spray" (I know there's a better word, but I'm drawing a blank....just work with me!) That just shows you how fun loving they are! I love them both and wish them all the happiness in the world!

So.....there's my life in a snapshot this past 2 months! We've been crazy busy, but lovin every minute of this thing called life! Next post.......before and after pictures of the house! Get excited!
Up next in the Foshee household: B'day dinner with my parents tomorrow, B'day dinner with my MIL and her family Thursday, B'day get together with friends on Friday, Father's Day for my FIL Saturday, church and small group on Sunday, then BEACHBOUND on Monday! YAY!!!
