My mom said I LOVED this book growing up. It was one of my all time favorites and she read it to me all the time!

Who doesn't love this collection of books. The characters look TOTALLY weird now that I think about it, but I was always drawn to these!

Shall I say more about this one! It's an original!!!!
The Bernstein Bears were awesome!!! I think I read most of their books once I was older!

I forgot all about this little book until I saw it on the shelf! It was also a classic and I never would have guessed in a million years that it's still a big hit!
This one deserves a special post of it's own. I didn't see this one at the bookstore tonight, but I do own it. It was my dad's book growing up and then when I would go visit my grandmother she would read it to me. I LOVED this book because the little boy's name was Alan....just like my daddy! Well, a few years ago she gave it to me and I have it sitting out at my house. However, I don't think I'll let the baby ever get hold of this one. It is soooo old that the pages are old and worn and almost falling out. But I consider this book an heirloom of sorts and am so glad it was passed down to me!
Well....thanks for letting me stroll down memory lane! Do you have any good classic books you would recommend that I buy to read to my baby??

Well, I'm a huge book lover too and am hoping to pass the love on to Maddie. Her favorites right now that I suggest for your new little one are:
Goodnight Moon -- her all time favorite -- wants to read it every night, over and over
The Jesus Storybook Bible - it is so great -- it's even one of my favorites
I know an Old Lady Who Swallorwed a Fly - a little weird but she likes it
What do Monkeys do? - short and sweet...easy to flip through a zillion times
Thank you, God - we read this one to her in the womb so I love that she still wants to hear it
I Love You Through and Through
Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you Hear?
*As you can see, we have tons of books. I enrolled Maddie in a Children's Book of the Month Club and it is so GREAT! It's worth every penny and we have so many books. I just sort of rotate them in and out (besides the ones above that are a constant).
Happy reading, Foshee little one!
Love the one "One White Crocodile Smile" I have no idea where it came from but of course Aubrey has is now.
