Sick + Beach = No fun!

SO....tomorrow I'm leaving for the beach for my girls! Although, I'll miss my precious hubby, I really think this time will be good for us girls! It's been a rough week for most of us! But....I'm not as excited as I should be.....maybe because my head feels like it's about to explode! I really feel like I have a sinus infection because that's what it always is when I get sick. Why does that always happen? I always manage to get sick on my off week (which is good because I don't have to miss work, but who wants to be sick on their off week?!) I started feeling bad Friday night at work, but really started feeling terrible Saturday night. So....this morning I decided to take care of things once and for all. I went to the doctor. I hate going to the doctor for sinus issues because usually they do nothing to help but give a decongestant. Well, today they hooked me up! I got a steroid shot in my "hip" (more like my lower back......and it hurt like crazy!!!!), a two week prescription for Zyrtec D, and a 10 day round of antibiotics. Hopefully, all this medicine will nip it in the bud! Right after I left the doctor's office, I went and got my prescriptions filled because I wanted to start the meds ASAP. So, I sit in CVS and wait for my prescriptions to be ready. I get my prescriptions and head home. As soon as I get home, I open the bottles to start taking my medicines. When I opened my antibiotic, I realized they only gave me 7 days worth instead of 10....ughhh!! Everyone knows that the 11th commandment says, "Thou shalt take all days of antibiotics and not stop until you are finished......even if you feel better!" So, I called the pharmacy and had to get back out and get the rest of the medicine. BUT, the pharmacy people apologized and were very nice about it (Thanks CVS!). So, here I am trying to get over my illness so I'll feel 100% at the beach! And, I still haven't started packing! I've got to get on the ball! Anyways, pray we have a safe and fun trip and I'll post pics when I return!!!
